TID - Toscana Inventors Day - Green Transition & Sustainable Tech is the second edition of the event dedicated to the matching between inventors and companies and it is focused on the presentation of tech and financial opportunities addressed to companies and investors active in the field of: environmental and food sustainability, green transition and bioeconomy.
The event is organized by Regione Toscana Ufficio Regionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico, Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Scuola Normale Superiore, University of Siena, University of Pisa, University of Firenze and IMT School of Advanced Studies Lucca.
This second edition will take place online on 18 November, starting from 09:30 a.m. There will be institutional greetings, keynote speech and success stories from companies.

THE ACTIVITIES OF SANT’ANNA SCHOOL

Sant’Anna School will present two inventions:

  1. Permanent magnet actuator for adaptive actuation: The invention proposes the creation of a new type of actuator that allows to achieve adaptability to the environment, ensuring a high mechanical efficiency and high transmission force. The invention is developed by the research team coordinated by Cesare Stefanini (The BioRobotics Institute).
  2. Dispositivo per la variazione passiva e ciclica dell’assetto di galleggiamento

Marco Frey, pro-rector for the third mission, will participate at the round table “The innovation made in Tuscany”.
